The problem
A manufacturer selling in several ways at once, to retail buyers, distributors, private-label clients and export importers, usually ends up with a brochure site that answers none of them well. A buyer looking for the right grease for a machine, a distributor asking for terms, and an importer in another country each want something different, and each ends up on the phone or on WhatsApp asking for it.
What was built
The Lukeron Lubricants website, built as one connected system instead of a set of brochure pages:
- A searchable product catalogue. 66 products, each with its own page, grades, pack sizes and data sheet, grouped by segment.
- Three free product finders. Engine oil, grease and industrial oil. A buyer who already knows the grade or spec gets the matching product in a few clicks.
- Separate paths for different buyers. Pages for distributors, private-label clients, sample requests, and a full export section with country and buyer guides, a product matcher and an RFQ form.
- One enquiry route. Enquiries are emailed to the team, with spam screening in front, so nothing depends on someone watching a phone.
- An online shop with Razorpay payments built into the site.
- Articles and policy pages. A blog and the legal pages a business selling online needs, such as privacy, terms, shipping and refunds.
Built to be found
The live sitemap lists more than 200 URLs. Each page has its own title, description, canonical address and preview image, with structured data for search engines. I added an automated SEO check that runs before changes go out, submissions to Bing through IndexNow, and an llms.txt file so AI tools can read the site accurately. The same checks now run on this site too.
Kept up to date without retyping
Product and export content is pulled from a central data source when the site is built, so a change to a product is made once and not edited by hand on several pages. The site is wired to check for catalogue changes on a schedule and rebuild itself when something changes.
Technology
Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS, hosted on Vercel. Pages are generated ahead of time, which keeps them fast and cheap to run.
Status: live
The site is live at lukeronlubricants.com. I haven't published traffic or enquiry numbers here, because I would rather show you the working site than a number you cannot check.
Who this is for
Manufacturers and distributors whose website should do more than list products: help the right buyer find the right product, route different kinds of buyers to the right place, and bring enquiries in without anyone retyping them. If that sounds like your business, I can build something similar around your products and buyers.
