The problem

The Packaging Lookup System (SYS-01) solved one specific pain — getting packaging specs right, fast. But it lived next to a bigger set of manual processes: quotations built by hand from raw material and packaging costs, proforma invoices typed up per order, stock tracked loosely across raw materials, packaging items, and finished goods, and no single place to see a customer's history, pricing, or order status.

Those processes worked, but every one of them depended on someone remembering the current rule, the current rate, or the current stock position — the same fragility SYS-01 was built to remove from packaging lookups, just spread across more of the business.

What was built

Once SSH access to proper hosting became available, the original plain-PHP lookup tool was rebuilt as a full Laravel application — and its scope grew with it. What's live in the system today: a master product catalogue, cost-based quotation and proforma invoice generation, order and lead management, an Expo Leads pipeline that receives leads directly from the AI Lead Capture Tool (SYS-05), packaging and raw-material stock tracking with a low-stock dashboard, a self-service customer portal, and role-based admin access with a full activity log.

It's built and documented in parallel — every module ships with matching admin-guide documentation — and includes a one-click demo-data seeder (blocked in production) so new features can be sanity-checked against realistic sales-flow and inventory scenarios before they touch real data.

Status: in development

This runs today against Lukeron's real product catalogue and real quoting workflow, under active daily development — not a finished, deployed product yet. It's included here for the same reason SYS-03 is: the problem is real and the system already works internally, even before a public rollout.

Who this is for

Any manufacturer that has outgrown spreadsheets for quoting, order tracking, and stock — but is too small or too specific in its workflow for a generic ERP — has some version of this same gap. Starting from one narrow tool that actually gets used, then growing it module by module as the next bottleneck becomes obvious, is a deliberately different path from buying a heavyweight system upfront and hoping it fits.

If quoting, orders, or stock still live in someone's head or a spreadsheet, it's worth a short conversation about what a system like this would look like for your setup.
